Lands End to Cape Wrath 2017

For some obscure reason I decided that it was time for another end to end. Having already done LeJog and Dover to Cape Wrath, I decided to do the third option. Even more amazing was the fact that I persuaded 6 other elderly gentlemen to accompany me! We left Lands End on Sat 19th of August and arrived at Cape Wrath 2 weeks and 1025 miles later. We had a fantastic time, generally good weather, a few mechanical issues and a load of fun. In the end 5 of us finished the ride. We averaged about 75 miles a day, and stayed in hostels. We were unsupported, but were travelling  light. For three of the group it was the first time touring. Quite a feat. Congratulations to Huw who was raising money for Altzeimers research.
